01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Photo and Video Recovery ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including the free version and any paid features.

02Description of the App

The App is an Android utility that scans your device for deleted and leftover files and helps you recover them. It also provides a File Vault, a Junk Cleaner, a Contacts Backup tool, and a Recycle Bin. All scanning, recovery, encryption, junk analysis, and contacts backup happen on your device. The App does not upload your files, media, or contacts to any server.

03License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your Android device for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices within the App

04Recovery Is Not Guaranteed

When a file is deleted, the operating system may mark its space as free and later overwrite it. Whether a file can be recovered depends on things such as:

• Whether the device or operating system has already overwritten the data
• The type of storage, file system, and Android version on your device
• How much time has passed and how the device has been used since deletion
• The permissions and access the operating system allows the App

As a result, some files may be unrecoverable, and recovered files may be incomplete, partial, corrupted, or may be cached or thumbnail copies rather than the original. The App scans for recoverable and leftover files, but recovery of any particular file is not promised or guaranteed. You should keep your own backups of important files.

05Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only on data you own or are authorised to access. You agree not to:

• Use the App to access, recover, or restore files or contacts that you do not have the right to access
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's systems or to other users' devices or data
• Distribute malware or harmful code through the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for the files and contacts you choose to recover, back up, or restore.

06Purchases and Billing

The App offers a paid "Remove Ads" purchase. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchases, refunds, and cancellations are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's refund policies. If you reinstall the App or move to a new device using the same Google account, you can restore an eligible purchase.

07Advertising

The free version of the App is supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you acknowledge that the Google AdMob SDK may collect certain device and usage data for advertising purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy. Where required, the App presents a consent choice for personalized or non-personalized ads, which you can change in the App's Settings. You can remove ads by buying the Remove Ads option.

08Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including but not limited to its design, graphics, icons, text, and underlying code, is the intellectual property of Technobi and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The "Photo and Video Recovery" name and associated branding may not be used without prior written permission.

09Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• That any deleted file can be found, recovered, or fully restored
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Compatibility with all Android devices or versions
• That the App will detect all recoverable files or all junk on your device

You use the App entirely at your own risk.

10Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the App
• Any failure to recover a file, or recovery of a partial, corrupted, or incorrect file
• Loss of, or damage to, data or files during recovery, deletion, junk cleaning, backup, or restore
• Any decisions or actions you take based on the App's results
• Any interruption or cessation of the App's availability

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because deletion, restore, and cleaning actions can be permanent, you are responsible for reviewing items before you delete or clean them.

11Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for app usage and crash diagnostics, Google AdMob for advertising, and Google Play Billing for purchases. These services collect certain usage, device, and diagnostic data as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of Google. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

12Termination

These Terms apply while you use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any of its features, at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property sections, will continue to apply.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, shall be subject to the courts of [confirm your jurisdiction, for example Rawalpindi or Islamabad].

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be reflected on this page and, where relevant, in app updates. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
