Blood Pressure Diary is a wellness journal app for Android that helps users log and track their blood pressure readings. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

02Data We Collect and Store Locally

The following data is entered by you and stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers:

  • Blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic, pulse)
  • Measurement details (date, time, body position, arm used)
  • Notes and tags you attach to readings
  • Medication names and dosages
  • Profile name and blood pressure target
  • Blood pressure monitor or cuff model
  • Reminder time preferences
  • App preferences (theme, text size)

03Advertising Data (Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network)

Blood Pressure Diary displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network. These advertising services may collect and process:

  • Device identifiers (Android Advertising ID)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
  • App usage and device information

Advertising data collected through AdMob is processed by Google LLC and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Advertising data collected through Meta Audience Network is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. and is subject to Meta's Privacy Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy

Our ad placement commitment

We have configured ad placement to ensure:

  • Ads are NEVER shown on screens displaying your health data or blood pressure readings
  • Ads only appear on informational screens such as Settings, Health Info articles, and legal pages
  • Your blood pressure readings, medications, and health data are NEVER shared with Google AdMob or any advertising network

04What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your email address
  • We do not collect your precise location
  • We do not require account creation or login
  • We do not access your contacts
  • We do not use your camera or microphone
  • We do not access your files except CSV files you explicitly select for import
  • We do not collect any data from children

05Third-Party Services

The third-party advertising services used in Blood Pressure Diary are:

  • Google AdMob (advertising). Google's Privacy Policy applies.
  • Meta Audience Network (advertising). Meta's Privacy Policy applies.

We do not use:

  • Analytics platforms
  • Crash reporting services
  • Cloud storage services
  • Social media integrations
  • Any other third-party SDKs

06Data Storage and Security

  • All health data is stored locally on your Android device
  • Health data is never uploaded to any server
  • Health data is never transmitted over the internet
  • Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data
  • You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time
  • You can delete all data from within the app via Settings → Delete All Data

07Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with any third party. The only data that leaves your device is advertising-related data collected by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network as described in Section 3 above.

08Children's Privacy

Blood Pressure Diary is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this app, please contact us at the email address below.

09Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Export: Export all your readings as CSV or PDF from Settings at any time
  • Delete: Delete all your data from Settings → Delete All Data at any time
  • Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently
  • Ad preferences: You can reset your Android Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings under Google → Ads

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in app updates and the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
