These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Technobi ("Technobi", "we", "us") regarding your use of BillNest, Bill Reminder & Subscription Tracker ("BillNest", "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

BillNest is an Android app that helps you record bills and subscriptions, organize them into categories, and receive local reminders before due dates and renewals. It includes optional features such as AI Smart Import (which converts text into structured entries using Google's Gemini API), on-device OCR for reading text from images, backup and export, home-screen widgets, and paid options including a BillNest Pro subscription and AI Credits.

BillNest is an organizational and reminder tool. It does not make payments on your behalf, does not connect to your bank or biller accounts, and does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.

You are responsible for the information you enter and how you use the App. In particular, you agree that:

• You will enter accurate bill and subscription details, including amounts, dates, and reminder settings.
• You will keep your device functional, powered, and configured so that reminders can be delivered (for example, allowing notifications and exact alarms).
• You will review AI-generated results before saving them.
• You will keep your own backups of important information, as your data is stored on your device.
• You will use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

BillNest schedules reminders on your device based on the information and settings you provide. Reminders depend on factors outside our control, including your device's clock, operating system, power and battery-optimization settings, "Do Not Disturb" modes, whether the App is allowed to run in the background, and whether notification and alarm permissions are granted.

BillNest is a tracking and reminder tool only. It does not pay bills, does not manage or cancel your third-party subscriptions, and does not provide financial advice. Any late fees, missed payments, unwanted renewals, interest, penalties, or other financial consequences are your responsibility. You should verify all amounts and dates independently and contact your billers or providers directly for anything involving actual payment.

BillNest offers optional paid features through Google Play Billing. This includes the BillNest Pro subscription and, where offered, AI Credits.

• Auto-renewing subscriptions: BillNest Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel, it automatically renews at the end of each billing period, and your Google Play payment method is charged the then-current price for the next period.
• Google Play Billing: all purchases and renewals are processed by Google Play. Technobi does not receive or store your payment card details.
• Cancellation: you can cancel an auto-renewing subscription at any time through your Google Play account (Google Play → Subscriptions). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Cancellation is handled through Google Play, not by Technobi.

Prices, billing periods, and available plans are shown in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region and over time.

BillNest Pro is a paid, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium functionality, which may include removing ads, a periodic allowance of AI Credits, and other enhanced features described in the App at the time of purchase. The specific benefits and their limits are those presented in the App when you subscribe. Benefits associated with an active Pro subscription remain available while the subscription is active and may end when it lapses or is canceled.

AI Credits are a usage allowance that lets you run AI-powered features such as AI Smart Import. You agree that AI Credits:

• are virtual usage allowances, not currency, goods, or property;
• are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, or moved between accounts or devices;
• may expire according to the subscription period or other terms shown when you obtain them;
• have no cash value;
• are not redeemable for cash or any other consideration.

We may change how many credits an AI action costs, and the size of any allowance, over time. Unused credits are not refundable except as required by the applicable Google Play policies or law.

We may provide free AI Credits from time to time, for example to new users or as part of a promotion. Free credits are provided at our discretion, may be limited in number, may expire, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Free credits carry the same conditions as other AI Credits set out in section 08 and have no cash value.

BillNest may let you earn AI Credits by choosing to watch rewarded ads served through Google AdMob. Watching a rewarded ad is optional. A reward is granted only when the ad is completed and verified by the ad provider. We do not guarantee the availability of rewarded ads, and we may change or discontinue rewarded credits at any time. Rewarded credits are subject to the same conditions as other AI Credits in section 08.

Because purchases are processed by Google Play, refunds are handled by Google.

Except where required by law or Google Play policy, payments are non-refundable, and consuming AI Credits or using Pro features during a billing period may affect eligibility for a refund.

We aim to keep BillNest available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features that rely on third parties (such as AI Smart Import via the Gemini API, ads via AdMob, and purchases via Google Play) depend on those services being available. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, or the App as a whole, at any time, and some features may not be available in all regions or on all devices.

AI Smart Import uses Google's Gemini API to interpret text you submit and suggest structured entries. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong.

Your use of AI Smart Import is also subject to Google's applicable terms for the Gemini API. See the Privacy Policy for how your submitted text is handled.

BillNest, including its name, logo, design, code, and content (excluding the data you enter), is owned by Technobi and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party services and their marks belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or its intellectual property to you. The bills, subscriptions, and other data you enter remain yours.

Subject to these Terms, Technobi grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use BillNest on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license ends automatically if you breach these Terms or stop using the App.

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, except as permitted by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• use the App to break any law, or to store or process content you have no right to;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its features, or related services;
• attempt to obtain, multiply, or use AI Credits, rewarded credits, or paid features through fraud, automation, or manipulation of ads or billing;
• use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with other users' use.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that reminders will always be delivered, or that AI-generated results will be accurate. To the extent any warranty cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, it is limited to the minimum permitted by that law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technobi and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, savings, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, without limitation, missed payments, late fees, unwanted renewals, or other financial consequences related to reminders or AI features.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Technobi for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the least extent permitted by law.

You may stop using BillNest and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or any feature if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. On termination, the license in section 15 ends and you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply. Canceling a subscription is handled through Google Play as described in section 06.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Technobi is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. You agree that disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law entitles you to bring proceedings elsewhere. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the App.
